4th of May 1998 is the remarkable day in my life and in the history of my village called Irungalur 16 km away from Trichy in the Diocese of Kummbakkonam. It's the day of my ordination in the parish of St. Thomas-Irungalur.

After 12 years of formation, I was finally ordained as priest on this day by Most Rev. Dr. Peter Fernandos, bishop of Trichy (now he is the Archbishop of Madurai). I was really happy to commit myself for the service of the Lord for ever.

I am the first priest to be ordained in my parish although it was established as an independent parish 50 years before.

In the year 1999 Fr. Lawrence and 2002 Fr. Rajashakar was ordained for the diocese of Kummbakkonam.
